Poem: Expert Knife Thrower

I take a knife from a drawer — a deranged glare from a distance

I sharpen the knife to cut deep — a judgment injudiciously casted

I aim holding the blade in eyes not hands and malice in heart — a harsh word

You know what comes next. I’m an expert knife thrower.
