The Boomerang of Growth

What are you working to improve in your life? Whatever that is I bet you’re having a beautiful struggle to improve that thing. Many teachers I know are working to:

  1. Lose weight
  2. Improve relationships
  3. Make more money
  4. Be creative
  5. Have more freedom and voice

Whatever you work to grow works to grow you. The plants in my garden work to grow me as a human as much as I work to grow them as plants. As a teacher, I work to grow my students’ knowledge and understanding, and my students stretch my awareness and understanding too. Anything/anyone you work to grow exists to grow you.

Usually our work of growth is a struggle; it will always be a struggle– a beautiful struggle.  Keep working for the growth of others because whatever you work to grow will also work to grow you.
